29. Orange

An orange can be viewed, eaten, bought, sold and anyone can communicate with it.

The orange colour was not long ago only used in advertising as an unresolved time-delayed compromise.
Sainsbury's supermarket from the late sixties and early seventies when orange was a must in colouring.

Now it seems to have gathered momentum since the late nineties.
Orange mobile communications, EasyJet and the list seems to be endless.

An almost unseen and unpronounced word in the eighties, too reminiscent of a era that the then fashion hoped to forget.

Now, it is a revival in one form or another.

It is suddenly no longer dated and very populist indeed.

Fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-fashion! NP
