118. SONIC BOOM: The Art of Sound

I've just returned from the PR launch.  The exhibition opens today and runs until 18th June.  I couldn't wait to place this entry.  As a musician and multimedia artist, I should know better and play with words as eloquently as this exhibition inspires to.  But it's not easy.

The Art of Sound includes over 25 artists including Brian Eno, Scanner, John Oswald to name but a few.  They've all joined forces in an attempt to capture the sound of our digital era and recompose its message within an erratic, demented, freaky and technologically profane environment.

The fine use of the space provided does add to the grandiloquence of the atmosphere.  I'm literally bewildered.  The place was far too crowdy to even glimpse further.  I'll have to return and scrutinise every piece of installation, projection, sound and get involved, get stimulated, get pictured and shiver to every bit of noise, one can indulge to capacity.

Talks and live performances will take place in other venues. NP
