Y2K Diary [ 22.02.00 ] 53. The Amiga "So the World May Know," says the title. Amiga announces plans to embrace Sun's Java technology as the software platform for forthcoming new Amiga products. "Amiga is the home of a large number of the world's leading edge multimedia developers, artists and users," so they keep saying. Their web site is on our current list of the ugliest websites of the year.  One of the most exciting links is the "retired Amiga products" displaying a blank page.  We tried it few times, from different machines but to no avail. It is hard to find out who they are targeting. Amiga seemed to have died in the nineties despite several promises of a world domination. NP related links: Visit the Amiga site for more info.
