173. Watching

58 Chinese people died because they tried to enter the Promised Land.

They have paid a fortune to be smuggled into Britain, but Death On Arrival was waiting for them.  Only 2 survived.  58 died.  It resembles a bad lottery draw.

We live off China and Asia:   all the things we buy off cheaply are manufactured there.  One always assumed that the Chinese were paid.  No slave labour.  Otherwise they wouldn't have been tempted by the Western Wonder would they?  We mirror the world to our own image.  It seems thus obvious to cross through the other side.

We don't let them.  We can't.  We'll be swamped otherwise.  The virtual world can, but the non-virtual world can't.  Time transportation would be the answer.  But it's too early.  We have to wait.  The world is too slow.  Far too slow. NP
