Oracle. My mate Tom can read the oracles on the palms of my hands. He can tell me my good fortune. That makes him an Oracle reader.
When the Eighties came with a bang with bad music, make-up and dresses for men so did the programming language that resulted in Teletext. Most of the world used Teletext, whilst the French stubbornly experienced the Minitel.
Minitel is a little computer with a number to type such as 3615 then the name of the site. The graphics were as appalling as in Teletext. They both live to this day, despite the Internet being available to Digital TV users. Oracle is more than just Teletext, and its has evolved into an integrated Internet language. NP
