110. The Blair Witch Project (Part 1)
|
"On 21st October 1994, Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard and Michael Williams hiked into Maryland's Black Hills Forest to shoot a documentary film on a local legend, 'The Blair Witch.' They were never heard from again. One year later, their footage was found. 'The Blair Witch Project' is their legacy." The site opens on an old grimoire. One can flick through the pages and get more information on the film, but not enough to my liking.

The QuickTime movies might have been better rendered as GIF animations, with background noises and a screeching agonising sound that seems to loop forever and ever throughout the site. Very annoying.
I had to switch the sound off.

I saw the film when it came out, and I then described it as a very good documentary. I'm not saying here that a film site must have a trailer, one can only veer towards the excellent slide-show presentation stunningly demonstrated on it's American sister site which is much better designed, more entertaining and interactive.
