Y2K Diary [ 14.04.00 ] 105. Snails Snails are some of my favourite animals. As I've written in my film Map of the Universe, coming soon to a cinema near you, snails symbolise the long achievement of time. According to a pagan legend, if you're very nice to them and look after them, they will return the favour.  Though, I think this is also true of all our fellow brothers of the animal kingdom. This site is about snails and some of its metaphors.  Everything you were always dying to know about them. Although the site is well documented and informative, there is very little about their sexuality.  Not many people know that they do satisfy their own sexuality. I might well research the subject one day and write a book about it.  The site has also many links to other animal sites.
