Y2K Diary [ 04.04.00 ] 95. Nullsoft WinAmp If you are unable to live without music, then your life just keeps getting better by the day. With the development of the MP3 technology, a new chapter has opened up in the music industry.  You can now store your whole music collection on a hard disk drive, and either play it from there or transfer tracks at will to a portable player. The former is achieved by using a piece of software such as WinAmp (pictured right) to decode the audio files for realtime, high quality playback. WinAmp's features include: Equalizer, Playlist Editor, Visual Plug-Ins, Browser, 'Skin'-able, Streaming, CDDB, along with the usual play/shuffle/track controls, and loads of other features.
